A black dog named Sonia comes to a man who probably lived quite a lonely. Then, one day, the man dies and the dog misses the man who left him and becomes a white dog after being buried in the snow. Did the dog enter into a fantasy world? The words that appear at the end of the film says that ‘The story is based on a true story.’ The real world and the fantasy world are shown together in photos of the two main characters. Is that why? In order to emphasize the texture of Sonia’s fur and the man’s coat, the puppet-stop motion was mainly used, but a dreamlike background was later made by combining it afterwards. (NAH Ho-won)
