Born in 1942, Prince Yukol graduated from UCLA with a degree in geology and minor in film studies. He became one of Thailand’s most pioneering filmmakers and was invited as a jury member for Berlin International Film Festival in 1981. His films include The Elephant Keeper (1987), Suriyothai (2001), and The Overture (2004).
