Program Note

Surfing instructor Ford has been told that he is a son of Director Francis Ford Coppola of The Godfather. He has wasted his youth waiting for the director to acknowledge Ford as his son. But as the surfing season ends, he is forced to confront the lonesome stories of his past.

Mario CORNEJO

Born in 1975, Cornejo is a Filipino director and writer. Cornejo directed a cult hit Big Time, which was premiered at 2005 Cinemalaya Film Festival, and Stray Hearts (2008). His third feature Apocalypse Child was invited to Udine Far East Film Festival and New York Asian Film Festival.
