Born in California, Dickinson moved to New York in 1999 to study films at NYU. Also active as an actor, Dickinson starredin criticallyacclaimed directorial feature, First Winter (2012), which premiered at 2012 Tribeca Film Festival. He also acted in Glass Eye Pic’s I Can See You (2008).
