Program Note

This film depicts the downfall of a housewife who falls head over heels in love and into a life of crime. A housewife Rika becomes a contract worker at a bank. One day, she begins to use her customer’s deposit for a while. Having a relationship with university student, Kota, she begins to embezzle money from the bank. Gradually, Rika’s life plummets toward her own destruction.

YOSHIDA Daihachi

Born in 1963, Yoshida Daihachi worked as a commercial director. He won numerous awards including a Silver award of Cannes Lions Advertising Festival. In 2007, he directed his first feature Funuke Show Some Love, You Losers!, which was officialy invited 60th Cannes. After that, he directed Permanent Nobara(2010) which won Netpac Award at BiFan 2010.
