Program Note

Guy, a food delivery rider, is a stalker who exploits the personal information gathered during his deliveries to secretly spy on his customers’ daily lives, genuinely believing that his actions are not a crime, but rather his own unique way of connecting and expressing affection. One day, Guy develops an intense fascination with a female customer, and as his obsession spirals, he eventually sneaks into her home to observe her life from the shadows, but upon witnessing an unexpected side of this woman—who had always seemed so bright and cheerful—he finds himself entangled in a web of hidden truths. While the film takes voyeurism and stalking as familiar thriller tropes for its starting point, the story refuses to follow a predictable path, beginning within a conventional setup but quickly blurring the lines between good and evil as the characters' relationships and emotions become intricately tangled. The plot keeps audiences on the edge of their seats until the final frame, making it impossible to easily deduce whom to trust or who the true perpetrator and victim are, and by blending gripping suspense with a terror rooted in everyday reality, this contemporary thriller chillingly demonstrates how easily our familiar daily routines can transform into a threat.
