Program Note

When Brodie, a washed-up metalhead, resurrects his dead bandmates for a battle-of-the-bands, the result unleashes riffs, gore, and apocalyptic carnage only DEATHGASM can deliver. A hard-rocking mayhem of demonic headbanger horror-comedy, Jason Lei Howden brings a delicious sequel to his outrageous 2015 feature debut, once again creating an over-the-top, angst-ridden tale of a has-been death-metal rocker named Brodie hoping for one last shot at glory. He does it so by resurrecting his dead bandmates using his guitar codes, but also with catastrophic consequences.
