Synopsis

Rooted in the ancient Xiangxi ritual of corpse-herding, the Jiangshi became a global cinematic icon following the 1985 cult classic Mr. Vampire. Four decades later, as the golden age of the genre fades, a documentary filmmaker and a Taoist priest encounter Lao Li-believed to be the last living Jiangshi in the modern world.
