Six gifted students in a French private school, who have already learned earlier that humans have no hope in this world, results in self-destructive rebellion due to their tilt between intellectual maturity and emotional immaturity. While trying to fulfill their responsibilities as adults, the sight of an alternative teacher who falls into lethargy and hysteria before their destructive energy represents the helplessness of the older generation today.
