Program Note

This film is about a day of a foley artist who works with great affection for his work. The growing rhythm and mounting tension make the audience completely immersed in the movie.

Program Note

A man focusing on works with unknown purpose with rusted steel, styrofoam pellets, cassette tapes, a hammer and a violin. All the sounds are recorded with a microphone, revealing that he is a Foley artist. This 7-minute short film is interesting in that the tension felt in the first and second halves is quite different. The first part creates a certain mood through some behaviors of unknown intention while unexpected cruelty awaits you in the second part. The way the main character is misled and that misunderstanding is betrayed brings a monotonous space and story to life. (CHAE So-ra)
