Program Note
Jaegon (KIM Nam-gil) the detective is being pressured to close a murder case. He approaches a bar hostess named Hyegyeong (JEON Do-Yeon) for a clue, and they grow fond of each other. This film premiered at the Un Certain Regard section of Cannes.

Born in 1963 in Seoul, Oh Seung-uk in Sculpture at Seoul National University. He received the Best Sceenplay award for Christmas In August (1998) at the 1999 Daejong Film Awards. His first feature film was Kilimanjaro (2000).
