Synopsis

At present, he workds as a popular film director, a screenwriter and a producer in Hong Kong. His filmography reveals his attempt to test the limits of censorship and his boldness to clash with the establicshed institution. His works describe the clash between a genre and individualism by highlighting resistance against accepted expression and political taboos that the Hong Kong film industry tries to avoid.
