Synopsis

Life is quiet for Lionel until his mother is bitten by a malevolent Haitian rat-monkey and becomes a flesh eating zombie. Lionel seeks medical advice but Mum, a difficult patient at the best of times, rips nurse's throat out and his zombie family grows larger by the day. While he is in the cellar with his hellish house-guest, uncle Les, an old groover from way back, throws a party to end all parties.

Peter JACKSON

Born in New Zealand, 1961. He made his own film using super 8mm camera. He made his debut film Bad Taste, and gained popularity through Dead Alive in 1992. In 1994, Heavenly Creatures awarded a Silver Lion at the Venice Film Festival, and he entered Hollywood in 1996.
