Synopsis

Once there lived a despotic ruler named King Ubu. He was a king different from others since he was branded as having high-quality meat. He was as obstinate as a whale's sinew and abused his tyrannical rule. Being unable to stand the tyranny anymore, a regime of low-grade meat unite to defy King Ubu's rule. In what may be called a raw meat's rebellion, the King is forced to step down and slaughtering ensues. Director Manuel Gomez's short animation spectacle is based on Alfred Jarry's "King Ubu," an off-the-wall parody of Macbeth, Napolean, and of a pimp who became King.(Na Ho-Won)
