Synopsis

Movies whose subjects deal with the relationships between children and animals have been popular in world cinema for ages. And why not? Such stories lend themselves to ideal examinations of the human heart. Sherdil tells a magnificent story between a girl, at odds with the world, and Sherdil, whose world is at odds with him.Sanna loves horses, but manages to have trouble in other aspects at life. She is faltering at school and combative with her parents. Even her riding instructor can't get through to her. However, passing a barn one day, she hears the sound of horses. She sneaks inside and sees the horse of her dreams - a proud Arab stallion. Later, she learns the horses are all meant to be killed, so Sanna rashly decides to free at least one of them, the stallion Sherdil. She does emancipate the animal and they hide out together in an abandoned house deep in the woods. During their time together, Sanna learns some valuable lessons about life and responsibility.
