Synopsis

Ex-con Joe Butcher is fresh out of prison and on a mission. He is looking gor his brother, a search which leads him to the seedy underside of Tijuana. Once there, Joe does find his brother, but too late. He is dead. Joe meets a grizzled drunk, a villainous dwarf, and an obsess sexpot while trying to find some answers to his brother’s curious life. However, Joe ends up uncovering Tijuana’s thriving snuff film industry and the corruption that supports it. In an alcohol-induced daze, Joe encounters a box of missing money and some angry ex-partners. Joe nearly manages to evade his pursuers as he frantically retraces his brother’s footsteps to uncover the truth about his death. Night Train is a visually stunning movie stylishly shot in black and white, a dark and dangerous ‘Film Noir-meets-German Experssionism’ for gritty film fans.
