The Man Who Watched Too Much

Synopsis

Seong-Soo happens to film a murder scene when he secretly films the woman living in front of his house. The muderer kills him, but only after he put the video into the return box at the video shop. He had taped over a video tape which he rented from a video shop. Next day, the muderer tries to get the video tape at the video shop from early morning, but fails since the clerk strongly refuses to release any video tapes without an identification. The murderer brings his identification, however, he is puzzled when he learn that all returned tapes are put back on the shelf. He has to rent video tapes until he finds the tape with the murder scene. The killer threatens the clerk to find the video tape he rent and start to rend tapes by genres and directors. He falls in love with films of Hichcock after he watchers all the movies of Hichcock while watching the many thriller movies Seong-Soo used to watch. He finally decides to become a film director. At that time, a guest finds the video tape and the killer shocks at the finding, runs out leaving the clerk and Seong-Mi behind.
