Project Submission

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

  • A feature-length film project (60min or longer) for theatrical release.
  • Either a director or producer should be attached.
  • Any stage of production from development, pre-production, production to post-production.
  • A project that is NOT fully financed.
  • A project that has been selected or supported by other organizations/funds may apply except when it is fully supported financially.

Required Material (online submission)

  • Logline(140 characters or 30 words)
  • Synopsis(700 characters or 120 words)
  • Treatment(max. 6pg)
  • Director¡¯s Statement(400 characters or 70 words)
  • Profiles of Director/Producer/Production Company(300 characters or 50 words)
  • Production Schedule (Detailed as possible)
  • Director¡¯s previous work(s)/Footage or trailer of the project(online link)
    • ¡Ø All contents should be submitted in full sentences except Production Schedule.

For the applicants of Work In Progress

  • Please include the specific description of the post production you want to be provided for your work.
  • Please submit the shooting scenario instead of treatment and attach the online link of the rough-cut that you are currently working on.
  • When your project selected as the official participants, the completed film will be Korean premiered at BIFAN and the detailed post production service will be set in a separate contract.

Benefits of Selected Projects

  • A roundtrip flight ticket and a 4-night accommodation will be offered for a director and a 4-night accommodation for a producer of each selected project
  • The outstanding projects will be given a cash award and/or the post-production support by our sponsors at the awards & closing ceremony.
  • One on one business meetings will be offered during NAFF It Project.
