Program Note

What if you could make a child the way you want? A couple visits a gene-editing clinic to design Theo, their first child. The couple, happy with the idea of giving only the best to Theo, finds that their genetic shortcomings prevent their child from having a perfect trait, and begin to feel pessimistic about having an incomplete child. It’s a Chilean short story with a solid SF setting and production design. (Gina KANG)
