A Japanese expedition goes to Obelisk Island, a remote island in the south, and discovers an egg from a “Gappa,” which the natives worship as a god. The team takes the baby Gappa, which looks like a winged lizard, to Tokyo. But the Gappa’s parents come to Tokyo and begin to re energy beams and destroy everything.
