Program Note
In search of their grandma’s shoes, two children accidentally fall in the realm of the dead. This film explores the comfort of the living while reflecting on life and death through the story of Kokdu, who leads the dead to underworld. Kokdu; A Story of Guardian Angels blends film and performance, with the front and backstage of theatre, creating a noteworthy stylistic experiment. (MO Eun-young)
