Program Note

Modern people live anonymously among the great forest of buildings. The things that we keep our mouth shut for our family can be a tragedy that shakes the lives of other family members. Through a woman who witnessed a hit-and-run accident on her way home late at night and made other choices instead of reporting, the film depicts extreme family egoism in modern society and fears of disconnection. It is also a famous short story in which you can see actress Kim Tae-hee as a rookie. (MO Eun-young)
