Two friends, Tilda and Petula, led a fast life while dealing drugs. In order to avoid being pursued by the police and drug dealer, they fled to their hometown. Their hideout was the mansion of a childhood friend named Daphne. They had to do strange role playing that followed three rules in order to get into Daphne’s home who showed symptoms of mental instability after a shock from the past. The two had chosen the lesser evil for their safety, but ended up heading towards more violent and dangerous situations. The three women create a carnival of blood in the name of friendship that causes chaos with alternative style and full colors everywhere. The screen seems to lay out the inside of Tilda and Petula’s heads as they suffer extreme paranoia caused by violence and hallucination. It is amazing how director Mitzi Peirone stubbornly pushed forward with the wicked women’s daring and subversive imagination until the end of the film, which delightfully twisted and dismantled these women’s friendship, sex and body in a new way. Madeline Brewer who is familiar to us from her appearances in the American drama series The Handmaid’s Tale and Orange Is the New Black , plays the role of Daphne to display as the ultimate psychopath.
