Program Note

Misa is a mediocre screenwriter. One day, she comes across the legend of the cursed geisha in a small village, and immediately heads there. Inspired by the legend, she writes a script at an amazing speed, but soon finds out that the geisha is taking her revenge.

Screenwriter Misa head to the small village known for cused geisha leg-end. Inspired by the legend, she writes a script at an amazing speed, but soon finds out that the geisha is taking her revenge. Night of the Dead Geisha offers joyful carnage with all the clichés of B-movies: horror, action and zombies of course. It certainly has its moments. (KIM Bong-seok)

NARUSE Kiyoto

Born in 1995, Naruse Kiyoto graduated from Osaka University of Arts. He won the Special prize in Off Theater Competition at the 2018 Yubari Film Festival for his movie Night of the Dead Geisha.
