Program Note

A shooting star falls down over the arctic island of Svalbard and The Global Seed Vault gets an unexpected visitor. Hunger knows no limits.

Program Note

After a meteor fell from the sky near a space station in the North Pole, a visitor who cannot speak human language appears at the station. This film, which features non-verbal communication between an alien and an earthian, took its motif from the Golden Record of ‘Greetings to the Universe in 55 Different Languages’ that was attached to each of the Voyager spacecraft 1 and 2 when launched from earth in 1977. The sound that seems like ultrasonic waves and the vast North Pole that appears at the start and end of the film creates a mysterious atmosphere. (CHAE So-ra)
