Program Note

The composer Hoon-seok came to Jeju Island to take a break. There is a bar near his house, and he currently has a feeling for the owner, Eun-e. However, he does not have enough courage to ask her out.

Program Note

Pianist and composer, Hun-seok is fond of Eun-e, but can’t show his feelings, because she is with Alberto. He cautiously gets close to her through his piano performances. This one-sided love is an infinite repetition of love, misunderstanding, giving up and separation – a lovely story of unrequited love. (JE Jeong-ju)

Moon Jae-woong self-taught himself to direct the first short film Dream of doll (2007) at 18 and the second short film The Beggar (2009). In 2016, his short film PIER (2016) was select for Short Film Corner at 2017 Cannes Film Festival.
