Program Note

The only left book of poetry published by a dead son. His mother, who entered the twilight age, goes on a journey with follows the son's poem. The maternal love, which is captured through restrained lines, gives a gentle impression like a poem.

Program Note

A mature lady learns Korean. She holds a poem entitled ¡¸ Passing Over the Hill¡¹, and as she walks on a university campus, her identity and relationship with the campus are revealed. Why is she so interested in this particular poem? The last scene is charged with emotion; the director’s skill in building these feelings is remarkable. (Rhana JANG)

Bang Sunj-jun studied film at Chung-ang University. A short film About Magnolia (2017), about the love of a man who resembled Magnolia was introduced to the competition section of Busan Short Film Festival.
