Program Note

A man who does not go outside the room. The anime character of Misaki is his whole world, and the enclosed and narrow room is a place special for the safety of them. Will you understand him or not?

Program Note

A film about a Japanese manga maniac, Otaku Miru lightheartedly visualizes the protagonist’s fantasy, casually observing him immersing himself in it. The film’s exquisite rhythm spells out his solitude and sorrow, reflecting the director’s effort to understand and show this in a refined manner. (Rhana JANG)
