Program Note
On the night of serial killer Ted Bundy’s execution, a Florida teenager is taken for a ride. An adolescent girl comes of age against the backdrop of the unforgettable moment in history.
Program Note
In 1989, on the historic execution day of notorious serial killer Ted Bundy, Karen works as a photographer taking pictures of the crowd. She joins some boys who ask her to hang out with them. Maintaining strong tension without dramatic story development or description, Fry Day amplifies viewer emotions and leaves a bitter resonance, clashing with the boisterous festival mood of the average frustrated 16-yearold.
