While at work, a filmmaker struggles to submit his graduation film to the BIFF under the watchful eye of his boss. Despite this film being an indirect reflection of the director’s real situation, he turns it into a noteworthy comedy, with precious feelings about film-making are impressively delivered. Goong Yu-jeong has directed shortfilms such as Her Hear out (2010) and TFB (2014). She was fully stimulated to direct Closing Date after receiving poor treatment at a former short film festival at Incheon.
