Program Note

Before an emergency operation on a female patient begins, a nurse sees the patient is wearing a blood transfusion rejection necklace for religious reasons. The nurse overlooks this in order to save her patient’s life, but the subsequent butterfly effect will affect the daily lives of both.

Program Note

This cold yet sensuous film about blood transfusion follows this everyday, realistic activity, but the sight of it can make for nervous viewing. The ensemble of two actresses in a conversation scene is remarkable and the tension at times palpable. Do people live on blood or belief? (CHANG Hyun-sang)

He graduated Department of Film from Korea Arts Conservatory. Transfusion, it was selected as the official competitor of the Busan Peace Film Festival in 2018.
