In a near-empty bar, a man asks for a Mirinda. He refuses to pay and shoots the bartender when pressed, then orders another patron to keep serving him Mirindas. The first film by Alex signaling his unique mix of absurdity, comedy and horror.

Born in Bilbao, Spain in 1965, Álex made his feature debut with a cult hit Mutant Action (1993) and gained a global fame with The Day of the Beast (1995) winning countless global awards. His other film credits include Common Wealth (2000), Perfect Crime (2004), The Last Circus (2010), Witching and Bitching (2013) and The Bar (2017).
