Program Note

Twenty-year-old Nayeong (JEON Do-Yeon) returns to her hometown to look for her father who has disappeared. By entering her father's home, she is somehow transported back in time to when her parents' relationship was just beginning.

PARK Heung-sik

Born in 1965, Park Heung-sik graduated from Yonsei University and finished in the 8th class at the Korean Academy of Film Arts. I Wish I Had a Wife (2000) is his directorial debut film and his first collaboration with Jeon Do-yeon. He received Best New Director Awards at various film festivals for his debut film. He worked with Jeon again for My Mother, The Mermaid (2004) and Memories of the Sword (2015).
