Widow Ruth is seven months pregnant when she, believing herself to be guided by her unborn baby, embarks on a homicidal rampage, dispatching anyone who stands in her way. A tour-de-force performance by the director who also stars while she was actually pregnant.

Known for her work as a UK television comedy actress, she has appeared in several TV shows, shorts and feature films such as Hot Fuzz (2007). She made her screenwriting debut with Sightseers (2012), which also awarded her the Best Actress Award at BIFAN 2013.
