Program Note

Cetarti travels to Lapachito, a solitary town in the Chaco province. At Lapachito, he meets Duarte and forms a strange alliance to process and cash the insurance money. In a place with no law, he becomes entangled in Duarte´s shady business.

Israel Adrián CAETANO

Born in Uruguay in 1969. He wrote and directed Red Bear (2002). The movie was premiered at Cannes’ Director’s Fortnight and it became a box-office success in Argentina. His other film Chronicle of an Escape (2006) was also selected in Cannes’ Official Competition and was distributed worldwide.
