Program Note

Captain Zhou, investigating an unidentified body under the ice-sealed river, and detective Wang, a kidnapping case in Shanghai, finds out that the local chemistry factory bridges the two separate cases together. Therefore, the two partner with each other to bring the criminal to justice!

Born in 1975, Xu graduated from the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 1995 and studied cinematography at Beijing Film Academy. As a renowned director of photography, he participated in many films including Esquire Runway (2008).
