Program Note

A teenage school girl Izumi inherits leadership of a four-man yakuza clan, but focuses on her graduation. Yet as her friends are caught up in dangerous drugs, she begins to suspect the Hamaguchi boss and the war begins. This is the remake of the 1983 version.

MAEDA Koji

Born in 1978, the Japanese director and screenwriter Maeda made his feature directorial debut with Naked Over8. His other films include Cannonball Wedlock (2011), My Hawaiian Discovery (2014) and Till Death Do Us What? (2015).
