Program Note

A 16-year-old prostitute is murdered; her body cut up and flushed down the toilet, and her severed head thrown into Victoria Harbor. Detective Chong begins investigation. This film focuses on each character and their family, instead of investigation of its case. This film makes us confront of an atmospheric mosaic of human lives and actions that invariably get complicated, out of order and beyond reason.
