Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival's (Festival Director: CHOI Yongbae, hereafter BIFAN) 10th Network of Asian Fantastic Films (hereafter NAFF) has confirmed the 16 projects to be included in its list of the 2017 'It Project' official selections.
A total of 233 entries from 39 countries were submitted for consideration to become one of the 2017 NAFF It Projects. Along with South Korea, submissions came in from all over the world from countries in Asia, to countries in South America and Europe, helping to reconfirm BIFAN's prestige as a world-class film festival.
Due to the multitude of high quality submissions this year, a considerable amount of time was needed to screen the projects and come up with the official selections. Projects were chosen based on their originality, on how true they stayed to their genre, and for the project's possibility of going on to completion. Including the four titles from South Korea, a total of 16 projects from 15 countries will be participating in B.I.G NAFF over a period of 4 days starting on the 15th of July.
