Oscar MARTIN
Oscar MARTIN is a Spanish director, writer and editor of films, television, and music videos. With over 20 years experience in the audiovisual field, he recently released his excellent directorial debut: the multi-award-winning film Amigo(2019). He has extensive experience in production, working on a great variety of genres and formats: commercials, music videos, short films, documentaries... Without ever losing his bond to fantastic cinema, he has contributed to documentaries The Man Who Saw Frankenstein Cry on the mythical figure of Paul Naschy, Film Festival Workshops and TV shows Calle 13 (Universal Studios Networks). He directed acclaimed shorts such as Full of Empty or Bonsai, and worked on an interactive science-fiction movie, Hezomagari, developed between Spain and Japan. UPIRO would be his second film, after being named best director for his directorial debut, AMIGO, at the Nocturna Madrid International Film Festival, Terror Molins IFFF and the Festival Internacional de Cine de Alicante and Le Festival Fantastique de Menton, as well as the Prix Nouveaux Cinéastes Toulouse, France.
