Synopsis

In a rural district of Argentina – fraught with disquietude and tension – Virginia is looking after her cousin Anabel, who is suffering from an illness. Virginia begins to have a strange and indefinable feeling towards her cousin. Despite the discrimination of the village people, the love story between the two vampires offers breadth of emotion: deep, yet cool.

Martin DESALVO

Martín Desalvo was born in Buenos Aires in 1973. He has been active as a filmmaker, scriptwriter and theatre producer since 1998. In 2002 he received the INCAA's Opera Prima Award for Kept And Dreamless, starring Vera Fogwill, Mirta Busnelli, Edda Diaz. Darkness by Day is his second feature film.
