AHN Byung Ki
After majoring in film at the Seoul Institution of the Arts, AHN Byung Ki worked as an assistant director in the films White Badge, Life of Hollywood Kid, Black Jack and Naked Begin, which were all directed by Jeong Ji Young and on which he honed his production skills. He made his debut in 2000 with the film Scissors, a juvenile horror, then went on to direct the feature film Phone in 2002, which is about a telephone. He established 'Toilet Pictures', specializing in the production of horror films. He has consistently shown his passion for traditional horror movies. His third horror feature film, BUNSHINSABA, was the closing film at the Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival in 2004. He is currently directing the film Apartment to be released in November 2006.
